Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Operate company straight truck transporting and delivering household goods and furniture from origin to destination.
  • Manages on-site moving crew to ensure efficient and effective service and delivery to clients and homeowners.
  • Actively participates in moving materials, equipment, furniture, and household good items.
  • Acts as liaison with customer service reps, dispatch, and warehouse staff to meet company’s obligation to the clients.
  • Adheres to all Safety, OSHA, and DOT regulations in accordance with the company’s Safety Program and initiatives.
  • Maintains driver log according to FMCSA regulations.
  • Responsible for accurate and complete transactions on all paperwork; securing signatures, collection of payment, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Submit paperwork to dispatchers to validate crew man-hours and report any incidents.

 

 

Qualifications

What we look for:

 

  • Active Class “B” CDL License.
  • REQUIRED 1+ year of experience driving with commercial license.
  • Less than four (4) moving violation within the previous 12 months.
  • Must pass a DOT physical, background check, and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Candidate must have good communication skills and capable of lifting 75+lbs.
  • Reliable, punctual, and available for flexible work schedules.
  • Prior moving and storage or furniture delivery a plus.
  • Experience as a crew leader or supervisor a plus.
